英国剑桥大学的分子生物学实验室利用新系统平台发现一种分子可以靶向磷酸酶，减少小鼠大脑亨廷顿氏病相关蛋白积累。 该发现发表于《Cell》杂志。 磷酸酶（phosphatases）是许多细胞信号传递的关键。大多数信号通路始于一个激活信号，激酶（kinase）捕获一个化学标签（磷酸基团）到特定蛋白质上，从而改变它们的功能。信号的停止来自磷酸酶截断磷酸基团。 细胞中包含200多种磷酸酶类型，涉及方方面面的生物进程，任何药物必须有选择性地靶向正确的一种类型，否则就会产生严重副作用或直接杀死细胞。 虽然已经有许多针对激酶的药物被成功开发（如抗癌药物），但是特异性靶向特定磷酸酶的药物却是一片空白。因为切断磷酸基团这一功能对所有磷酸酶来说是通用的。因此，只要能抑制一种磷酸酶，该药物就能抑制上百种磷酸酶，很导致细胞死亡。 领导这项研究的分子生物学家Anne Bertolotti博士说：“几十年来，我们根本没有办法选择性地靶向磷酸酶，......阅读全文
